Hardware going bad? Intermittent problem with your NIC or one port on
a switch maybe?

Once in awhile one of my switches seems to downshift and won't do more
than 10Mb/S until I power cycle it. I've come to notice this when I
try to watch from the bedroom, but I don't see it elsewhere in the
house. Power cycle the switch and it's fine again.

This hardware isn't 100% reliable...
