I got this message each time I use to upgrade my mythtv packagers. It
was because I had set a root password. If I left the root password
blank as it is by default then the error was no longer present. I
never saw any problem because of it. I would often run sudo
dpkg-reconfigure mythtv-database to 'reconfigure' the database as it
suggested. It seems silly that having a root password for mysql would
cause other packages a problem updating. If so they should prompt for
the root password during the update.
