Certainly the graphics hardware in the Precision units is. I picked up one of 
those used from a vendor who thought it was a standard Latitude (and priced 
it accordingly). I've been very happy with that machine.

It really is an insult to give a $14 refund if you don't use Windows, and 
charge HOW much for it standalone? In some places this would be 
called "dumping", and be illegal. Quantity discounts are one thing, but this 
is ridiculous.

I'll bet they report it as a "sale", and charge the crapware suppliers for 
a "delivered installation", even though the products they (the C/W seller) 
paid to put on the box will never be seen by the buyer. The cost to keep 
track of that and properly credit the C/W vendor would probably exceed the 
amounts involved.
