I suspect you're using xvmc or it may cause a problem if it's even
enabled. The latest update included a new version of nvidia-graphics.
I use atrpms on F8 as well and it places the lib you need in
/usr/lib64/nvidia-graphics-versionnumber/. I'd check your
/etc/X11/XvMCConfig file to make sure it's pointing to the proper
spot. Each time I update nvidia I have to manually change the file
there's probably a way to do it automatically but I haven't looked
into it.
