Im not happily exploiting 5.1 sound out of the thing yet. but from whats come
out in the past couple of days its certainly breathing hard.
but to be honest I rushed over to keyboard with CC in hand to preorder one
if for the only reason to make sure I got one before hauppauge got sued.
then once I got it working under mythtv I got another. now Im happily recording
about 50 shows a week across the 2 units. Its not certainly brain dead (flashing 12:00
on the vcrs) consumer level hardware yet but its as reliable and stable as everything
else mythtv related. Best $500 I spent outside a strip club in ages.
"Why is it so hot inside this handbasket?"
