did not appear until the 2.6.24 kernel release. Some folks reported that things were resolved by rolling back to the 2.6.23 kernel, but I personally haven't tried that. One thing in your configuration that has me a little puzzled is the ivtv-kmdl package.. The ivtv kernel module is now part of the main kernel distribution, so I am not sure what the ivtv-kmdl and the ivtv packages provide... -Rich
