Re: the central database those were my thoughts exactly. Plus the
advertisers might take exception to this and get legally interested
somehow (not sure what that might be but attracting legal interest to
Myth would probably be a bad thing).
I believe the sharing of comskip results has been mooted, and
recently, but was rejected for those sort of reasons.

However each of us having almost identical recordings may help the
development process.
(Rather than with analogue recordings where the bit rate, sound volume
etc are different).

I certainly think a "per channel" approach is required, and here is
where we can collaborate with settings.
