[mythtv-users] Anyone using RocketRAID?

Dave,

I bought a HighPoint 2322 last April to hold my
recordings and movies.  I initially had it configured
with 5 500 GB drives for a Raid 5, 2 TB partition.  I
used FC6 with no problems, but when support for FC6
went away, I made a switch to mythbuntu.  While I
initially thought I would lose my 2 TB raid array by
switching distros, through trial and error, I was able
to transfer my existing raid array from FC6 to
mythbuntu, and did not lose anything.  The only
headache I had was trying to compile the kernel
driver, which was resolved by using google.  I also
installed “system-config-lvm” to make lvm management
(I added a new raid partition, also raid 5) easier.
