Excellent question. This I have done. I went directly to my
/video/recordings and played the files with mplayer and xine. They are
fine. But, with the Internal player, sound issues.
Live TV in the Internal player on SD is where it is the worst. Though,
sometimes, rewinding live TV just a few seconds results in the
audio/video to be sync'd fine again.

Does this clarify or point at a possible area that could be the
problem? I will also try the ffplay later as well.
