2 for me, being a Linuxer for many years now.
I always got the impression that people tend to go through a stage of
hating Microsoft around the time they switch (I certainly did). But
then after a while you stop thinking of yourself as a Windows user, and
all the little things somehow lose their power over you.
However, there's a difference between Linux users and anti-conformists.
You'll find people that are fanatically opposed to any big established
thing - Microsoft, television, the English language, you name it. They
all have some good arguments, but they're in it for the sense of
identity rather than the logic.
