The recorded program has different sections using different frame rates, 
so Myth's estimate of its duration is incorrect.  See, also, 
http://svn.mythtv.org/trac/ticket/799 .  Though the ticket title talks 
about "doubled recording length," it's more general than indicated.  
When #799 is fixed (properly), your issue will also be fixed.  It has 
been very low priority to most (all?) devs, though, as it's pretty much 
only a cosmetic issue.
