been several times when I wanted to make a small tweak to my tuner
settings but I had to wait until the system was free to do it so I
could fire up mythtv-setup.  I'm not much of a coder, I would consider
myself somebody who can hack together a script but maybe a perl or
ncurses interface to the database?
