Splits in general shouldn't be a problem.  Probably the worst thing is
multiple sequential splits...which is actually what I have.  Near my
TV I have a four way splitter in order to connect my TVs NTSC tuner as
well as an old analog DVR and a Samsung HD receiver.  The fourth line
from that split then goes to my backend where I spilt to my three
HD-5500 tuners.  Even with that mess I'm not having problems.  I do
however have a roof antenna with a channel master 7777 amp.
