I have a MythTV system since February 2004 using an analog TV card.
And I'd like to know how I get it to schedule a recording of say..
BBC1 on the analog card when the DVB-C card is busy.
My setup was like this:
* TV card: Terratec Cynergy 600
* Video source: "Multikabel" using XMLTV
* A list of analog channels for this video source
Now I added a DVB-C card:
* Technotrend Budget C-1500 + CI + Alphacrypt + smartcard
* Extra video source: "Multikabel DVB-C" using XMLTV and EIT
* Added DVB-C channels from a channels.conf, fixed the multiplex
frequencies (what's up with that bug?) and matched channel.channum to
their analog versions
Currently I can hit "Watch TV" and press [Y] to switch to the analog
version. But the recording list shows conflicts that shouldn't be
there.
The closest thing I have come to is: Setting the DVB-C tv card video
source to the one I had for my analog recordings; adding all the DVB-C
channel mplexid & serviceid to that original Videosource channels.
Then it doesn't show conflicts. But only records snow on the analog
recorder. At that point pressing [Y] in "Watch TV" mode doesn't do
anything.
So.. what is the official way to get it to schedule on two tv-cards
that have similar channels ?
