This is fixed in svn trunk now :-)
You could always create the iso if you chose 'File' for the destination
and enter a directory where you would like the iso to be saved. The
directory needs to already exist and you need write permissions for the
user running mythfrontend. It will now also create the iso image in the
work directory if you chose a DVD format and have the create iso option
selected.
