This may be what I'll have to do as a last resort, but on the wiki
people have reported getting it working without the loopback cable.
When I load the saa7134-alsa module, a new dsp is created, but there
is no sound when I specify it in myth or xawtv.
Sound does come out of the jack on the back of the card, but I don't
have an input on my mobo/sound card at this point :(

I definitely agree with this -- I'm running a PVR-150 on this machine
too and have never had any trouble with it. I hadn't heard about their
FCC woes...wish I'd paid that little for mine a couple years ago :)
