[mythtv-users] Why Free Software has poor usability ?

Just for curiosity sake, has anyone done a poll around what are the
most common Pre-Install and Post-Install problems when people install
mythtv and how we can reduce those by better documentation or via
programming ?

What do you think would come on top of these polls ? ( Video-Card,
Tv-Tuner, Remote Control, Alsa-Sound, MemoryLeak, CommFlag,
Tv-Schedule, MythTv-Setup  ...)
