Since I haven't heard anything, I thought I'd give an update on what
I've been trying (which STILL doesn't work!). I set the firewire tuner
to be P2P instead of Broadcast, and added the following to my
mythbackend startup script (per the Wiki @
http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/index.php/FireWire):

	plugctl -n 0 "oPCR[0].n_p2p_connections=1"

I still get the same error in my backend logs. So I can't use my STB as a tuner at this point. I can't be the only one
who's trying to use a Firewire connection to their STB, can I?

Thanks,
Harry
