    I did complain to the FCC about having to pay to use an STB when my 
TV's (3) are all capable of receiving DT with out  one..I also badgered 
the local TW GM, they always came up with some lame excuse why it is 
necessary. My argument is, the same one we used when cable ready tv's 
came about... It's not necessary to have one unless you have pay channels..
  If everyone who is a Time Warner customer sends a note to the Regional 
TW office maybe they will listen...I really doubt it though...  It can't 
hurt. They like the revenue that the stb's generate...
