I use mine all the time. Are you sure you're running the same version 
frontend as your backend? (It sounds like it, but I'm just making sure). 
Can you connect from any other frontend? Meaning - have you set up your 
backend to accept connections from remote machines (mysql, opened any 
firewalls to allow required ports, etc)?
