[mythtv-users] recordings are seconds short

You can check what the log says with:

$ egrep "(Started|Finished) recording" /var/log/mythtv/mythbackend.log

This will at least confirm when the system starts/stops the recording
process - if tuning is not instantaneous seconds can be lost whilst
the process completes.
