You mean California or Texas? (and a scattering of stores in a few other states)

Based on my all-too-brief visit (never had another chance before
vacation was over), Fry's seems to be such a place.

Well, maybe not quite the selection that Newegg has (at least, Fry's'
web site doesn't seem to have the variety that Newegg's does), but
Fry's probably comes closer than anyone else.

Since every Athlon 64 I've ordered has come with a piece of paper
which says the warranty is void if a non-AMD CPU fan is used, I always
order those in retail packages.  I suppose IF I find a really good
deal on an OEM Athlon 64, I'll get it solely to get some use out of my
mistakenly-purchased Zalman CPU fan.
