It changes the file name source. Without browse files enabled, the only
source is the DB, with it, it is the file system. The lookup option just
looks up files found on the fs in the DB.

The file browse mode is supposed to be fast, adding a special case to also
build a tree from the DB if lookup is enabled doesn't seem correct.
