Way before the Vic-20.
This was about 1967 0r 1968.
There was not one single integrated circuit in the machine (at least in
the early versions). It used the DEC "Flip Chip" modules, but don't let
the name fool you.
The front panel lamps were incandescent bulbs, a real pain to change, as
LEDs had not come along yet, at least not at affordable prices.
And the cool yellow and orange color scheme fit right into the '60s.
