There are two basic "classes" of iMON device (and several
"sub-classes"), a VFD (released several years ago) and an LCD (released
relatively recently). The ML02 comes with the newer LCD.

I've written some preliminary drivers for the LCD, which is available
from my website (http://codeka.com/blogs/?cat=30 and some forums
http://codeka.com/forums)

The drivers are only in the form of patches for LIRC (for the
kernel-mode component) and LCDproc at the moment (until I get them
stable, and feature-rich enough to integrate into the CVS of the
respective projects) but they work pretty well...

The biggest thing missing at the moment is support for the icons around
the outside of the LCD (it's got a bunch of icons for things like "tv",
"dvd", "5.1ch" "stereo" etc, as well as a cool spinning-CD icon). I'm in
the process of writing some patches for MythTV to support those (from
what I can see, mythlcdserver does not, by default, get enough
information to know whether you're watching TV vs. watching a DVD, vs.
listening to music, etc, which makes things a bit tricky for me!)

Dean.
