[mythtv-users] Can Anyone Provide Guidance for HD Hockey?

When watching HD hockey in live TV, it seems myth can't keep up with the
action - it's very slightly choppy and the movement of the players is
not fluid. This doesn't happen with any other program - football,
basketball and baseball all are fine.
I'm using a custom playback profile:
Decoder: Standard Video Renderer: xv-blit
Primary Deinterlacer: Kernel Fallback: linear blend
I've tried a bunch of combinations and this seems to be the least
annoying - has anyone had success with other settings?
I'm using an AMD X2 4600 w/2GB RAM and an NVidia 7600S with 256MB, 2 X
320 GB Sata 2 in a RAID 0 array all out to a 1920 X 1080 LCD. MythTV is
built from the SVN.
I get a whole series of the following messages:
2007-10-13 20:56:37.896 NVP: Video is 30 frames behind audio (too slow),
dropping frame to catch up.
2007-10-13 20:56:37.957 NVP: Video is 30 frames ahead of audio,
doubling video frame interval to slow down.
I'd appreciate any guidance!
Thanks,
Martin
