Not sure if it'll help much, but here are my settings. Some items are
different than what other people have posted.
Audio output device: /dev/dsp
Passthrough output device: ALSA:iec958:{ AES0 0x02 }
Enable AC3 to SPDIF passthrough: checked
Agressive soundcard buffering: not checked
Enable DTS to SPDIF passthrough: checked
Use internal volume controls: checked
Mixer Device: /dev/mixer
Mixer controls: PCM
I'm running Mythdora 4.0, updated to version 0.20. The only things I
changed to get my turtle beach riviera working was to set the settings I
mentioned above, and un-mute iec958 inside alsamixer. I didn't touch any
other configuration file. I get dolby digital content from HD recordings,
as well as 2 channel PCM audio from SD recordings (or some HD recordings).
It also resamples correctly if I play back HD recordings at something other
than 1.0x speed. DVDs also play back correctly with DD or DTS.
Hope this helps...
