[mythtv-users] lirc mceusb2 with ir blaster

Any one have any luck with the irblaster that comes with the mceusb2 IR 
receiver?  I can't get mine to work and I have verified that it is 
sending some type of output (using my camcorder to watch for IR pulses).

I am currently using an IR blaster on my serial port, but I would like 
to transition to this USB device.  I feel confident my lirc 
configuration is correct because everything work fine with the serial port.

I have heard the LED that comes with the mceusb2 is very weak so I 
constructed a new one using the same high-powered LED that I have on my 
serial port.  Still no luck.
