Bumping is generally frowned upon, especially after only 3 days.

If you have more than one card input/tuner on the card and each input
can be tuned independently of the others, you can define 2 different
video sources. 1 video source contains only analogue channels, the
other only digital channels. In mythtv-setup -> Input Connections you
then attach the analogue video source to an analogue tuner input, and
the digital video source to a digital tuner input.

If your only card only has a single tuner that handles both analogue
and digital channels, or two inputs where only one can be used at any
time, you can only have a single video source. In the second scenario,
you could connect your video sources to each input but would have to
ensure that simultaneous recordings are never scheduled as one would
always fail with the card being tied up to the other tuner.

The only real way to overcome this limitation is to get another tuner
card and have a dedicated analogue card and a dedicated digital card.
You then also get the 'bonus' ability to record 2 programs
simultaneously which also reduces the number of scheduling conflicts
you wil see.
