I think the Galaxy box has very similar limitations.  I haven't played with
the ffw and rewind much, but I think it is about how you describe.  There is
no 30 second or commercial skip, and no bookmarks.  That is one of the main
reasons why it would be great if someone could manage to turn one of these
boxes into a myth frontend.
