[mythtv-users] Is there a way to inactivate schedules?

There's an inactive flag for recording rules that has been there since
at least 0.18, IIRC.  Under "Scheduling Options", choose "This recording
rule is inactive."

I do exactly that for my first-episodes custom recording rule.  That
way, when a new series appears, I can decide whether it's worth
recording or not.
