Well there's O'Shea's Law, which states:

"Murphy was an Optimist"

Actually Murphy is not the bad guy, he's actually the hero.

After all, a "law" is named after its creator, and all Edsel did was to
point out a fact.

There was an article in "db" magazine many years ago entitled:

"The Contribitions of Edsel Murphy to the Understanding of the Behavior
of Inanimate Objects"

The article showed that Edsel Murphy had pointed out that so-called
"inanimate" objects are not, they simply lack the power of locomotion,
and are engaged in a universe-wide conspiracy against those beings who
can move.
