Theoretically you could use a hacked tivo to play back myth content (from a backend) if you transcoded to a compatible mpeg2 format, and then encased it in a tivo ty file, and then used a tool to insert it back onto a tivo. I tried this about a year ago, and manually did it, never got around to scripting it up though.
