But this points out a problem I've seen which seems to be getting worse:

Many times folks post problems or questions to which the answers  
depend to some extent on the location of the poster (NTSC vs. PAL,  
legal issues, listings sources, digital modes etc.)

With many of the posts you can tell from the email address, but not  
from all, especially with gmail and other world-wide mail providers.

Sometimes you can also tell from the message headers, but again not  
from web-based mailers.

And of course if the poster has put up a profile on the WiKi it could  
be looked up, but that takes time.

So: if it's relevant, post your location, it saves somebody asking,  
speeds up replies and may get you a more meaningful answer.

It's great to see so many folks around the world using Myth but it  
is, (or at least started as) a US-based project, and Yanks are  
particularly terrible at assuming they are the entire world.
