[mythtv-users] xorg.conf problem

have sony 55" hdtv... used nvidia-settings and with 1280x720  have 
desktop with slight overscan.
when i start mythfrontend  system restarts the x server so i am back to 
login prompt.
with other settings i was able to start the front end.. but tv picture 
would not fill screen and was shifted right 3 in.
using 6200tc dvi to hdmi ...
any ideas...
this is the hardest part of mythtv... i have mode lines comming out of 
my ears..
