A good suggestion, *if* the problem is truly CPU load (which is
certainly quite possible).
I'd make sure the problem is not simply disk transfer rate first. The
folks who have "solved" the problem by upgrading have probably
upgraded the mobo as well, thus perhaps solving an undiagnosed
problem of this type and only thought it was the faster CPU that did it.
While liveTV should add only a little additional CPU load without de-
interlacing, it doubles the amount of data being moved to and from
the disk system, and thus is where I would look first.
