[mythtv-users] Audio Sampling Rate for Analog HD-3000

I'm trying to get the analog portion of my pcHDTV HD-3000 card
working. I'm getting close but I still have an issue with audio.
I've got the audio line-out of the card routed to the line-in in one
of my sound cards. I've got the proper ALSA capture settings (I
think). However, when I watch live TV or record a show on this card
the audio is a little slow (for lack of a better description). In the
Analog settings under mythtvsetup I've got the audio sampling rate set
to 48000 Hz. I guess I'm not really sure what this setting controls.
When I start Myth with '-v audio' and I start live TV I see a message
that says "SetParameters(format=2, channels=2, rate=44100,
buffer_time=500000, period_time=125000)".  I think I need the rate to
be 48000. I don't know, maybe I'm wrong on this. In any case I can't
figure out how to get the right audio sampling rate, whether it's a
setting in myth, or perhaps an ALSA or module setting.

Any help would be appreciated.

TIA,
John
