[mythtv-users] configuring HDHomerun channels

How do you do it?

So far I have been unable to make the HDHomerun work. hdhomerun_config
works and looks good:

# hdhomerun_config 1010013D get /tuner0/status
ch=qam256:627000000 ss=98 snq=80 seq=100 bps=38809216 pps=0

And I have installed the latest firmware:

# hdhomerun_config 1010013D get /sys/version
20061008

I just downloaded and compiled the SVN sources (so that I can get QAM
support).

And I can run a channel scan from within mythtv-setup, and signals are
very strong (none of them below 94%) and it finds quite a few channels.
So I believe the hardware is good and the signal strength is good. It
has to be a configuration issue.

The channel numbers also show up as something like 93#3 whereas this is
probably channel 501 or some such in the Zap2it lineup (I know there's a
conversion algorithm somewhere). Thus the guide has no data for these
channels. I could correct the channel numbers manually if I have to (a
long, tedious process) if I could ever tune to them in the first place.
But if I hit "Watch TV", the backend immediately crashes and the
frontend just displays a little "Error displaying video" box. I can't
get past this. The backend log shows:

I'm clearly missing some steps in configuring the capture card, but I
can't find any documentation that would point me in the right direction.
Anybody have one of these things working that could help out?

Thank you,
