[mythtv-users] an easy one: how to set the default input (encoder) for live tv

Thank you for the howtos.

I am a little confused however by the terminology.
I believe I set the priorities from MythWEB in "Recording Priority",
is this the priority you were discussing? It does not seem to have any
effect on live TV.

If not, then is there a "Priority" field in Mythtvsetup in the Input
menu? And if so does this control a) live TV, b) recordings, or c)
both.

As I have it setup now

(I gave each tuner a number from 4 to 1, with 4 being the best tuner)
and when i go to record something it always chooses #4 first. I also
want that tuner to be the default for watching live tv, but when i go
to live TV it seems to neglect this recording priority setting and
goes right to Tuner 0,0

Sorry, I think I may have confused myself along the way. Does this make sense?
