[mythtv-users] Problems with HDHomerun

I'm trying out my HDHomerun. The hardware seems to be working, but the
problems seem to be related to MythTV. I say this because I can send data
to my Windows machine running VLC and things basically seem to work
(occasionally I have some problems but I suspect they may be station
specific...I just don't have enough data yet to say).

Anyway, on the MythTV side, my backend seems to be dying whenever I try to
record. I tried a test case and the log says this:

2006-11-20 13:00:16.993 TVRec(2): Changing from None to RecordingOnly

...and then it dies apparently.

Any suggestions? As a bit more background right before recording I was
sending the stream to VLC. At the time the recording came around, the
stream switched to the correct channel and I saw a few seconds of video
before it cut off (presumably retargeting the stream at the backend). So I
know the tuner was working, that it was streaming valid data, etc.

Other details that might be relevant:

   - All the lineup stuff seems to be working in MythTV.
   - I installed the latest firmware last night and the source is not QAM
   (it is 8vsb).
   - I'm running MythTV 0.20 from the Ubuntu repositories (I don't know
if this is from the fixes branch but the protocol version is 31).
