I appreciate the suggestion, but I don't use lirc (and so have never
had to hassle with it, thank goodness); see

I suggested using PAGEUP and PAGEDOWN as they're unused in TV playback
outside the editing mode. I am generally in favor of overloading
keybindings whenever possible and prudent
