[mythtv-users] lirc + PVR150 IR Receiver + Another Remote?

Hrmm.. I think I just found my answer..

When I started googling for "RCA RC-5 IR protocol", I found a couple of
sites stating that RCA uses its own protocol.  Since the PVR-150 only
understands the RC-5 protocol, then it would suffice it to say that the
RCA remote would never work with the PVR-150 IR receiver. :(
