[mythtv-users] Leadtek Winfast DTV100-T Problems with Mythtv

Hi,

I currently have a Myth box setup with a Kworld
vstream and TwinHan DVB cards working without any
problems. For various reasons I won’t go into here I
just got a Leadtek Winfast DTV100-T DVB card and
MythTV is unable to get a signal with it. When trying
to tune channels it gets “Timeout Scanning Transport
ID 1284 -- no signal”, and when trying to use the card
in mythfrontend (using channels tuned from the other
cards) it also times out.

I was until recently running FC4 with 2.6.15.4 kernel,
but I just ran a ‘yum upgrade’ and it has upgraded to
kernel 2.6.16.1 (I have also tried with my own
compiled 2.6.16.18 kernel). The drivers for all the
cards seem to load fine, and the linux-dvb site says
that the card is supported since 2.6.15 kernel. The
drivers all load OK, and TZAP seems to get a lock, but
mythtv is always reporting “No Signal” when I try to
tune using the leadtek card.

Has anyone else got this card and been able to get it
going with mythtv? I am getting desperate as I don’t
know enough about the DVB stuff to know what might be
wrong with the card.
