I'm not sure this is an ivtv problem.  I've been on 0.4.2, working
fine before I went to this latest svn.  If you log with -v playback,
you'll see the appropriate errors.  There's a ticket
(http://svn.mythtv.org/trac/ticket/1797) that was just submitted with
that problem, which I am seeing too, but without the ivtv driver
error.  I started a thread in -dev with my logs.
