[mythtv-users] MythArchive re-encoding/quantizing options

I just marked to HD shows (House) at 6 gigs a piece and set them to 
record on a single layer DVD (4.5g). After all was said and done, I 
ended up with roughly 2 gigs of files. Is there any way to get them 
closer to the full DVD size so they are not compresses as much? Is the 
re-encoding quantizing or whatever just making a best guess what factor 
to use and could it be tweaked better?
