Check permissions on /home/mythtv/TV

No.

Imagine if a web server served documents that weren't in the document
root... I could say:

http://192.168.1.36/../etc/shadow
http://192.168.1.36/../../etc/shadow
http://192.168.1.36/../../../etc/shadow
http://192.168.1.36/../../../../etc/shadow

until I got what I wanted. Not good for security.

Therefore, MythWeb must make a "view" of the recordings available under
the document root. The actual files are in /home/mythtv/TV (as your
logs above indicated mythbackend expected them to be.
