   Don't think I do, but I don't mind testing.

   If I understand you correctly, I should be able to achive the above by 
installing the ivtv kmdl, the the new v4l kmdl which will overwrite any ivtv 
versions that clash.  Is that what you mean?

   I think I actually had that situation last night, but ivtv was not 
initialising for some reason.  I think it was moaning about tveeprom, or a 
related error.

   Which modules do you mean by “supporting”?  These are the modules in 
ivtv-kmdl.  I'm not listing the v4l ones as there are loads, but almost all of 
these have a clashing version in v4l:
