Only if your receiver decodes dolby pro logic signals. That is the format
used to carry the 5.1 audio on the satellites and I expect its the same for
OTA/cable signals too. Otherwise you are stuck with standard stereo and
whatever trick your receiver can pull to put a signal in all speakers.
