[mythtv-users] Changing IP wrecked it

Hi all,

I'v got MythTV running on my Mandriva 10.2 box and all's been great - up
to now.
I put the box on another network and the IP therefore changed via DHCP.
Now, when I reboot the machine, mythbackend refuses to start up.
Nothing but the IP has changed (from 192.168.0.100 to 192.168.1.100) but
still it won't start.

If I run mythbackend manually I get:

2006-03-21 22:28:22.175 Using runtime prefix = /usr/local
2006-03-21 22:28:22.193 New DB connection, total: 1
2006-03-21 22:28:22.204 Enabling Settings Cache.
2006-03-21 22:28:22.204 Clearing Settings Cache.
2006-03-21 22:28:22.207 Current Schema Version: 1128
2006-03-21 22:28:22.207 Newest Schema Version : 1120
2006-03-21 22:28:22.208 Setting Lock for Database Schema upgrade. If you
see a long pause here it means the Schema is already locked and is being
upgraded by another Myth process.
2006-03-21 22:28:22.208 Database Schema upgrade complete, unlocking.

of the general settings.

If I manually try to connect to mysql:

mysql -h 127.0.0.1 -u mythtv --password=mythtv mythconverg

or

mysql -h localhost -u mythtv --password=mythtv mythconverg

it works. I can connect.

The .mythtv/mysql.txt file is unchanged. The Mysql database is
unchanged. But, the back end refuses to see my old database.... :-(

Is there something I'm missing here? Shouldn't changing IP be
transparent to the back end server?

Any and all pointers are welcome as I'm really banging my head against
the wall here.

Oh, I also rebuilt mythtv from source - no difference.

Cheers,

-Morten
