[mythtv-users] New Mac Mini, ultimate MythTV HD frontend?

Well after the advice on running the OS X frontend with -v all, I have
some data to work with. Just to eliminate as many variables as
possible, I reinstalled Tiger and updated to 10.4.5. So this is
brand-spanking-new, with only Mythfrontend and the OS defaults. It
does not seem to be related to processing, though I could be wrong,
but here is a snippet of what is happening: Basicly the "Broadcasting
free space avail" and "Waiting for prebuffer.." are really happy
throwing themselves in the log. Since I ran this from the terminal
with myth in a window, I was able to watch. The "Waiting for
prebuffer.." is the complete pauses in video and audio. My myth
backend is over GigE, and the Mini is in the same switch though it is
only 100Mb. No other network traffic at the time, and looking at
throughput it is low. I can run 3 other remote frontends from my
backend/frontend before I start to have issues. 2x2.0G5, G5 iMac, and
an Older AMD pc. So network and backend performance is not the issue.
Any ideas?
